Control Ableton Live with your voice. Hands-free, 100% offline.
You'll need an activation code (sent with your invite).
“set the tempo to 128”, “mute the bass”, “launch scene 2”… 50 voice commands.
Say “Néo record” / “Néo stop” without letting go of your guitar. The wake word listens for you.
Speech recognition runs on your machine. Nothing leaves your computer — your sessions stay yours.
Built-in voice engine, no cloud. Works even with your WiFi turned off.
Install Néo on your computer.
Enter your activation code on first launch.
Open Ableton, hold the mic (or say “Néo”), and speak your commands.
Néo talks to Ableton through a small, free add-on called AbletonOSC. You install it once (Ableton Live 11 or later):
AbletonOSC folder into Ableton's Remote Scripts folder:Documents\Ableton\User Library\Remote Scripts~/Music/Ableton/User Library/Remote ScriptsNéo isn't signed by Apple yet (beta), so the first time, macOS will say the app is “damaged”. It's not — the app is perfectly fine. This quick one-time step just tells your Mac to trust it. You only do it once, ever.
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Neo Vox Control.app" && open "/Applications/Neo Vox Control.app"
Nothing seems to happen in the Terminal — that's normal (no message = it worked), and Néo opens by itself 🎉
From now on, just double-click Néo in Applications (or Launchpad) like any normal app. You never touch the Terminal again.
